Summary

Quies  | kiːs | (noun, origin: Latin)
     — quiet, peacefulness, tranquility, dream

Dreams are a marvel. Every one has dreams when they sleep, feeling like they have been transported to something magical, something out of this world. This may surprise many, but dreams serve more than just a fantasy made up in our heads.

They mean something, whether we are aware of it or not.

In a universe where dreams take place in a fantastical realm called the Oeiri, guardians known as the Quies watch over us
as we slumber, maintaining our peace of mind, and guiding us through the nightmares and troubles. Without knowing about
the dreamer, the Quies must observe and adapt to the abstract environment, through symbolisms and actions, to help out
the human in their trial.

About The Quies Project

The Quies Project is a creative work where the stories are inspired by dreams that were shared to the author. Each story is based from a single dream from a single individual. The silent narrative is reflective of how dreams are more often remembered visually.

These stories were then complied into a 148-page, 4-chapter published volume. However, the stories are also free to browse on this site. It is also here that you can learn more about the symbolisms of each element in the stories, aiding the readers into understanding the narrative at a deeper level.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading through each chapter and its meanings with a curious mind. May your dreams keep guiding you to a better self
